  1. Hey, I'm usin' Forty-Two to convert my DVD to a .avi file. While it's prossesing I like to check the movie w/ quicktime. The video looks great...however, it would be nice if some audio accompianied it. Any suggestions as to why there is no audio?

If you are using QuickTime to view the AVI file you will not have any sound. Please try players like VLC or mplayer which you can find on macupdate.com or versiontracker.com

  3. ok, cool. BTW, why is that? Is it because the audio is mp3 which can't be read by QT?

As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.

  5. Ok--I download Mplayer and there is still no audio. I clicked the info button and it said VIDEO--XVID AUDIO--N/A.

By this I take it that forty-two didn't extract the audio....so now what...?
