  1. I am backing up "Gangs of New York". The movie is on two discs. I want to make it on one. I used DVD2AVI to frameserve into TMPGENC where I encoded acourdingly. I am using the original AC3 2.1 channel Directors commentary and the AC3 5.1 channel main audio. I have 2 .m2v video only streams (discs 1 and 2) and 4 .ac3 audio streams (disc 1 and 2, both the director's commentary and main 5.1 ). I want to author the two halves onto one dvd keeping both audio streams. I tried TMPENC's DVD Author. It will only accept one audio stream but will allow me to include both halves of the film. I tried IFOEDIT's DVD Authoring. It will let me include both audio streams, but i won't be able to include both halves of the movie. Can anyone tell me of a better program that would allow what I want or if I am overlooking a feature of one of the programs that I already have.

    P.S. I am stuck under FAT32 limitations.
P.S.S. I tried opening both parts in DVD2AVI which resulted in sinc issues.

I ran into this problem when I had a double sided dvd and I wanted to put it on one dvd-r. This is what I did and is should work for your situation too:

    http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html#joindbl

    Tools you will need:
DVD Decryptor or another ripping program
    IfoEdit - Freeware
    VobEdit - Freeware

This will make an exact copy of just the movie not any menus. After you get the movie created you will need to run it thru a program such as DVD2One to transcode it to a size that will fit on one dvd-r. This program will also allow you to choose which audio files you want. You can keep them all or choose as many as you want.
