Using DVD Decrypter to rip, DVD2One to compress main movie, picking every English audio track and subtitle, burning with Nero. Plays on PC ok but there is no sound when played on JVC standalone unless I toggle Audio button on players remote. Out of three options the sound comes on the second of the three only. Get no sound at all on when tried on friends players, just movie.

it would be helpful if you put the dvd in the drive and ran dvd decrypter, Press I on the keyboard so it goes into ifomode, then press stream processing, and tell us what the audio tracks are called with there stream numbers i.e. 0x80
Was this also a rip from an origanl DVD Disc, NTSC or PAL?
I think we are going to need quiet of lot of information to sort this problem out.http://dvd.coldpie.com - where you can download versions of DVD2DVDR. -
Its an original PAL DVD. The streams are
0x81 - Audio - AC3/6ch/English
0x88 - Audio - DTS/6ch/English
0xA2 - Audio - LPCM/2ch/English
There are four Discs each with 2 parts that is Disc 1=Part 1 & 2, Disc 2=Part 3 & 4 and so on and all the Discs are the same Audio streams and are 2 layer Discs except Disc 5 which is one part and 1 layer and is the special features Disc and has one Audio stream which is
0xA0 - Audio - LPCM/2ch/English -
Forgot to say that the Extra's Disc is the only Disc that plays properly on any standalone
