  1. I have bmp images 1752x1168 and would like to see then on TV (PAL).
I have tried hard but couldn't get something usable on a stand alone DVD mainly because of the wrong aspect ratio of the images when encoding to SVCD!!!
I have Ulead VS5 + DVD Plug in and Adobe photoshop.
I also tried TMPGenc without success!!

    Would really appreciate some help.
    Thanks
    Best regards

  2. Hi,

Use Photoshop to convert the pictures to 704x480 (NTSC) or 704x576 (PAL) and select the option to maintain the aspect ratio. Now you can either burn these on VCD as HI-Res stills. But this way you won't be able to use sound. Another option is to encode them using TMPGenc as XVCD or SVCD. I would go for SVCD, since this is better supported by standalone DVD players than a XVCD in that format.

    Hope this helps.
