Hello,

I just bought a Philips 783C dvd player to use with my home theater. I bought it because it plays all DVD formats and plays SVCD's. As far as playing the diks, it plays them all. My only problem is that the picture to me does not seem as clear as Im use to seeing from my old DVD player. It is possible that this player does not put out a great picture? I know the 793 got good reviews as far as putting out a good video. Could there be that much difference between the 793 and 783 or is it just me? Im using component video. Can anyone give me a good suggestion as to a player that will play all DVD formats and SVCD and has a 5 disk carosel? Thanks very much.
