    Hello All,

Does anyone have an opinion, recomendation, used this card???? I am interested in purchasing this product, but not sure if the $500 is worth it? (ps - it comes with VEGAS 4.0 and Moviefactory SE/$329 with no SW?) or should I:

    * for the same $ get the MPEGPROmvr?
    * Save my $ and just get the ADVC 100 (and get less
    expensive SW)?
    * Just spend the extra cash and get something like the STORM2
    * Some other setup other then CANOPUS?

any and all opinions or comments are welcome!

    thanks,

    RNTS

  2. I have been using one and happy with it. It really works fine... no lip sync problems with captures. Works out of the box, installed easily without any problems on my WinXP pro box. Recently I outputted back a 6 hour ( various episodes of Six Feet Under)show, back to VCR tape after I pulled the episodes off TIVO and edited it thru Vegas 4. Picture quality was surprisingly good. I could have gone with Canopus ADVC 100 for a cheaper price but what I really want was Vegas 4 included with the package. IMO Vegas 4 is one of the best and easier to use NLE available for consumers. Just checked out the various video editiong forums and this NLE is highly recommended, I have Adobe Premiere too but I like Vegas 4 better.

Only con I have about the ACEVIDIO is the lack of the breakout box. I could have given the ACEVIDIO a perfect 5 instead of 4 stars due to the lack of this thing.
