    Hello All,
I own a Phillips DVDrecorder 985 and until recently has been working wonderfully. All of a sudden it refuses to power up and will not open the drive drawer. After fiddling with the power and the traying open button it eventually displays the following on the dipplay window " ABF09A75 " which lasts a few seconds as a bright display with the popwer indicator on GREEN and then goes to faded display and the power indicator goes to red asif it was in spleep mode. The worst part is that it's not eve a year old but I can't find the service card I origunally had when I purchased it.
ANY HELP WOULD BE ETERNALLY APRECIATED!!!

Have you tried to unplug it for 5 minutes, then plug it back in? I have some video device that do that, but a unplug-replug does the trick. I have no idea why.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

I've had it unplugged for days!! I think it's more serious that the unplug trick that seems to work with VCRs and other players. Thanks anyway.
