The list goes on and on.
I used to have a nice 67 Mustang GT fastback just like Steve McQeen in Bullit. It had a nice built 428 Cobrajet with 4 sp close-ratio trans.
Was that one not a SuperBee with a bumblebee as the rear foil emblemed rather than a Superbird.
When I was in high school year of 1972. I built my most beloved 1965 GTO full blown, canary yellow, first car I ever seen with power windows and a reverb unit in the trunk stock. I built and installed a straight front axle and had to have 4 wheelie bars because it would come up so easily. We [STREET] drag raced for $$$$$$$ and I made a killing. Vin Diesel and his rice grinding buddies were not the first true street BADASS of the blacktop.
Ever seen the movie Two lane black top with James Taylor (1971) (yes the old singer) Carly
    Simon's Dude??

I know I am older than dirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too true. I alway feel like I'm about to fall to my death in a SUV. I personally don't like em' and hope I never have to drive one. I'll stick to sports cars.
I never feel that my Lexus will topple. Dunno, I feel pretty safe actually. The Lexus is very small and pretty low to the ground as far as SUVs go. Then again, it's not made to go off road.

The SuperBee was a Dodge and yeh it had a big bee on the quarter panel. The SuperBird was a Plymouth RoadRunner with a huge wing on the back and a pionted nose on the front. It was desinged for top speed in Nascar. Dodge had a version called the Charger Datona 500.

Hey if you can scrounge up some pics of that GTO, post them so that these young bucs can see what a real car looks like.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........
