i have two sony dvd players (DVP-s330)(DVP-NS315) and both of them have problems playing SVCD. the s330 will kind of play them burned on a CD-RW with the VCD header trick, the video is slow and out of sync. but the NS315 will start playing it but plays it with all the green blocks around the screen. anyway to fix the NS315 so i dont see the green blocks all over the place. i have read that ppl have gotten it to play. i have tried TDK and office depot CD-R's and memorex CD-RW's

The issue here isn't SVCD's, if I'm correct.
It's that Sony players HATE burnt media.
If you burn SVCD-DVD's you'll have no problem. 'Course then you need a DVD burner.
