    I was encoding something a second ago when crappy ass windows screws up and forces me to restart my computer so Tmpgenc didnt finish encoding the movie and the file it was creating doesnt work. Is there any way to get the mpg file work?????

    for me, scandisk automatically deletes any .mpg file that tmpgenc was creating....so the file ends up being 0 MB by the time windows is restarted...

    is that happening to you?

    otherwise, try opening the .mpg file with powerDVD/winDVD....
