I am getting into transferring home video from VHS to DVD's for some of my clients, and I was wondering if there is a media that is above and beyond others in terms of compatibility with DVD players. I am burning with a Pioneer A04 so I'd obviously like to burn at 4x, or at least 2x. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time guys.

A04 burns at 2X max.
Ritek media is VERY good stuff. Optodisc is also better (and cheaper) although I prefer Ritek due to its great reputation. -
Optodisc isn't better, it's also good... that's what I meant.
Ritek > Optodisc (although both are good) -
I'm gonna vote for the brands that scored higHEST on the compatibility test
MAXELL
TDK
PIONEER (out of buisness of media)
VERBATIM (we found problems with new batches tho')
And brands that you can see in the store! Not just Internet
and to clarify to the first poster (some of these may be RITEK inside..you won't know till you getem home)
