This topic was on copying playstation dvd's

If you want to copy a DVD movie its a little more involved (unless your dvd is under 4.7 gigs naturally)

Most are not, thats why the COPY method in toast doesnt work, because although it will make a .toast it will be 7 or 8 gigs, and how to do you burn that?

Instead, use DVDBackup 1.3 to copy the information to your HD.
THen use DVD2ONE to compile this information into 4.4gigs
    then you burn it

its all spelled out in the sticky i have at the root of the mac video forum or you cna get informatoin on my website (see signature)

Likewise, you will see how to do vcd/svcd to dvd. mine is just one of the many ways. Its HEAVILY covered in the forum, so do a forum search for VCD to DVD or .mpeg to DVD and you will find LOTS of ways

    enjoy

OOppps! Sorry I thought you meant copying games not movies

Galactica has a good post about dvd2oneX here
    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=156359

    Good combo to use

dvdbackup (puts decrypted movie on harddrive)
dvdonex (shrinks it to fit on one dvd)
    Toast (For burning)

Just reread Galactica post he already said all this stuff

Yes with this info you can copy a dvd movie and play it on your ps2 without any chip or trick

if you want to copy a game you have to follow the other instructions and you will need a boot disk with a swap method or a chip to play games

DUDE! You are in the WRONG FORUM! This is MAC VIDEO. NOT Window's VIDEO.

these are OSX applications. The wont run on Windows.

Windows apps can run on a mac (with virtual pc) but mac apps cant run on windows.

Wonder on over to the Windows Newbie's forum, and ask what is the program to use to back up and decrypt your dvd's to your HD.

DVD2ONE is both windows and mac, so as long as you get the windows app it will work.
