I am using Cinema Craft Sp to convert my avi to mpeg2(svcd). I hae followed all the directions listed but cinemacraft did not produce an audio file(.mpa) When I try to encode the ausio separately I get an error message and the program closes. I have tried the plugin and the standalone with the same results. Please Help

Well I don't know why cce didnt produce an .mpa but its just as well. CCE handles audio horribly and you should definitely do your audio encoding separately. Just use bbmpeg to multiplex your cce encoded video with your separately encoded audio.
CCE does not like to encode video without audio as well. It will crash everytime. If you are loading an avi directly then like I said, just let it encode as is and do separate audio and mux in the end. If you are frameserving using avisynth (prefferred method) then you can just add a line to your script that will make cce think you have audio. The line is:
resample audio (44100)---err something like that, I'd have to check.
This will let you just encode video in CCE.
