    I had this installed n my laptop. Its trail period expired so then I uninstalled it and rebooted.
    Sad to say now all I get is a blank screen at boot up.

    If anyone knows a fix for this other then reinstalling the OS please let me know.

    To others.. beware of this codec.

    Try going into safe mode
    either remove your video adapter or reset your display properties then reboot. should fix it.
