  1. Whats the easiest way to pull a snippet of sound from a vcd?
For instance, someone on a movie says something funny and i want to pull what he says off and save as a wav or mp3 or whatever

  2. Hi,

"Easiest" way to do that is open the MPG/DAT file in TMPGenc and use the MPEG tools to cut out the part which you want. (Including video) now use the De-Muxer option to split video and audio and Voilá you have a 224Kbps MP2 file with the audio you want. You can then offcourse edit this in you favorite Audio editor and/or convert it to a different format (Wav, MP3, WMA, etc.)

    Greetz,

Just play the movie, when you want the funny bit, hit record with the sound recorder
