Hello Baldrick
Is it really necessary to have that danged flash player keep popping up on you site, I don't want it, I hate installing un-needed things. And when I dial-up from work on machines I'm testing the modems in, it kills the performance until it has downloaded itself and offers to install. I can-not bring myself to install it on my machine, Home or work, And am sarned sure not installing it on customers machines, that is there decision to make for themselves not mine.
On my home machine if you know of a setting to keep it from wanting to install?
Thanks in Advance
Roger

Thanks for the fast reply, I'll have to test and see if it still pops-up..
It was strange because sometimes it would pop up every time I went back to the main page and other times it would pop up some of the time, and other times a whole session and no pop-up.
Hopefully it is fixed because this is the best site out of the ones I use and as a result because I always head here it is my start page when I open IE6.
So many Thanks

Any popups??? When I test with Mozilla firebird I don't get any popups...but it maybe only happens with ie and I have already installed flash.

I haven't seen any today, did you do something on your end (Just curious) Hopefully curiousity won't kill the cat (me)
Flash installer (as I understand it) will only pop-up when it hasn't been installed. I guess I just hate flash on websites.
Today I went to a motherboard maker's website to do a quick download on a fresh win98 load for a customers machine, Dial-up, Wait forever for the website to download flash before it'll finish displaying the page. Ran out of time and will have to retry tommorrow now.
We are going to try and get DSL again, hopefully with more success since the tile store down the mall from us has it now. But for now it stinks having dialup only at work and broadband at home.
Anyway
Thanks
Roger
