  1. I am using Nero. Is it not possible to disc copy a DVD from a DVD-RW to a DVD+R? I just want to make a duplicate of a DVD which I authored and created, but I keep getting this error that says there is not enough room on the destination DVD. There clearly is. Anyone know?

Are you sure you told Nero that you wanted to copy a DVD? In the New Compilation window there should be a drop down menu that switches between CD and DVD mode. It could be that Nero thinks your destination media is a CD-R, in which case there wouldn't be enough room to copy a DVD-RW.

I would try DVD Decrypter - copy the disc in ISO mode, then use Decrypter to burn the ISO back to your +R disc.

  5. There's no problem copying different format DVDs to different format DVDs. I've never used Nero to do that and I don't even intend to use it because my RecordNow DX is doing the job perfectly so far both for CDs and DVDs. Disc to Disc copying is done from the Wizard just in 3 steps.
Any format DVD to any format DVD.

    Enjoy!

I also use RecordNow to do disc to disc copies and at 4x speeds.

    instead of using disc copy

    burn as dvd video

and import the dvd files from the drive as nero problaly inserted marked errors on the first discs

on the disc to copy protect it

  8. I'm not sure that explaination as to why the project won't fit is accurate, since changing a file's attribute does not (usually) add to it's size.

However the solution is, IMO, correct - it's an old problem, as you will find if you do a forum search. For example:

nero put marked errors there on purpose to copy protect a disc

instantcopy 7 and other burning program do the same thing

so if u use nero on your first disc , then that's the problem
