What cheap media works well with the Pioneer A06 ? I don't care about the speed as long as it is 2x or higher. Just asking because I wasted $150 on media for my NEC 1300a that didn't work. I Don't want to make the same mistake again.

To be honest, id recommend a High speed sample pack like you get from meritline.com or supermediastore.com

    Meritline Pack
    Meritline™ 4.7GB DVD-R 4X General (2 Discs) 102-002
    Accu™ 4.7GB DVD-R 4X General (2 Discs) 102-096
    DVDPro 4.7GB DVD-R 4X General (2 Discs) 102-074
    Optodisc™ 4.7GB DVD-R 4X General (2 Discs) 102-091
    BeAll™ 4.7GB DVD-R 4X General (2 Discs) 102-092

    Supermedia Pack
    5pcs DVD Pro 1X-4X DVD-R media.
2pcs Optodisc Gold Writable Surface DVD-R media.
    2pcs Ritek 1-4X DVD Media.

Personally, id recommend both, the only problem is Supermedia store gives you 5 of the dvd pro disks (some people like these, others do not)

Its your call. 19.99 doesnt hurt much.
This is what I did when choosing generic media. I actually like the DVD Pro better (but they have changed the pack since I tried it, Optodisc Gold Writable Surface DVD-R and Ritek 1-4X DVD Media was not offred when i tested (these are supposed to be decent).
