Hi,
Ive got 10 episodes of street fighter the series currently in mpeg format, that i want to burn to svcd. The problem is that i want them to have a nice menu with the option of selecting the episode you want to watch.... i have looked at guides but none of them mention selecting episodes. They only mention making chapters from a movie and stuff like that....
can someone recommend me a guide to use or a way of doing this?
thanks!

thats how, chapters.
Basicly you can make a still image that will be your menu screen, have ssome text like:
1) Episode 1
2) Episode 2
You use VCDEasy to make the chapters and button control. There's a guide explaining how to do this in the guide section.
I did this with Trigun, follow the guide, and try it on CDRW till you get it right.Ejoc's CVD Page:
DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy
DVD:
DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX
Capture:
VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author -
Ulead MovieFactory make SVCD's with nice looking menu's and backgrounds easily.
You can do basic menu authoring with Nero, but they look like shit -

This guide is kind of over kill for what you’re asking but it goes into a lot of depth about how to setup chapter pts in VCDEasy. Personally when I was making xSVCDs I used TSCV to make all my menus/chapters. It’s another VCDImager GUI, it’s no longer being supported but is very nice, IMHO.
There are some TSCV guides here and at http://www.doom9.org
