Hi,
The familiar error msg is .... unsupported. I followed instructions found in other threads: increasing priorities in environment settings; copying all of dvd2avi files to tmpgenc folder; changing video settings on dvd2avi. But none of them helped.
The weird thing is my dvds are a set of 2. The second disc went okay with out a hiccup. The first disc is pulling my hair out. The only difference between them is disc 1 is twice as long as disc 2. I did try to cut a 5 mins clip from disc one but the tmpgenc still choked it out.
Are there any other ways I should try?
TIA,
Dawg
P.S: I forgot to mention that instead of using the tmpgenc wizard where it spit out the error, I went ahead and clicked on Start after closed and re-opened it. The quality on the preview window was really choppy like viewing a mpeg1 movie.

Are you waiting for DVD2AVI to fully make the d2v files? I got errors when I didnt do this.
