  1. I have ripped the VOB files to my HDD. I load them into DVD2AVI and save the project as .d2v. The problem is that after the process is finished, there is no WAVE file. My settings are as per the guides, but I cannot understand why?
    Ihave tried selecting different tracks within DVD2AVI, but no luck.
    The movie is Lord of the Dance.

    Thanks

  2. looks like that?
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author

  3. Yip, it looks just like that.
    I have used this method a few times with no proplems. What I have discovered is that the audio track seems to be only 2 channel and not AC3 - that's by looking at the VTS_01 Stream Information. I don't know if that has something to do with it.
    Thanks for the help.

  4. choose the next audio track

    what you can do to verify the current audio track is rippable is to load the vob files, select the audio track, and then press f5. in the info box that opens up, make sure the audio is DD (dolby digital)....if it's blank or DTS, then you need to switch to another audio track and try again...

    btw, make sure you end up selecting the language you want, i.e. english....the DVD might have a foreign language as the second audio track...(i.e. play the .wav file after you're done w/ dvd2avi to make sure it's in a language you want)

  5. Thanks guys for all the help

    Poopyhead

    I have tried all the tracks and only track one has an audio track. It is an MPEG format track. Where to from here? Like I said I have used this method many times with no hassles, It's just on this one DVD. It plays fine with WINDVD.

    Thanks

  6. if you cant get DVD2AVI to get it you could try VOBEDIT to demux the MPA then use something like BESWEET to convert the audio to WAV... unless TMPGEnc will take MPA as audio input... I dont remember since I always am working with WAV's.

  8. Thanks guys for all the help

    Seems like Vobedit did the trick. It's strange that DVD2AVI had hassles.
    Anyway thanks again
