  1. I have some mpegs that have two audio channels, I was wondering is there anyway I can make it so only one audio channel stays, since when I try to encode it with ulead or author it encodes both channels togeather so they play at the same time. I used tmpg to encode it, but it encoded the wrong channel, is there any program that will let me specify which channel to keep? Thanks.

  2. DEmux the MPEG files to seperate video & audio files. You can this with several programs (eg. TMPGenc: Choose "File | MPEG Tools" then click simple de-mux).

What type of source MPEGs are your files? If VOB you might want to use smartripper/dvd decrypter to demux.

  3. the problem is the audio file has two streams, and I only want one stream. Even when I open it in the non simple de-multiplex it doesn't seperate the audio streams, so the audio file still has both channels. I want to just take one stream instead of having both because when encoded they play togeather and cannot seperate channels. Don't know why when I encode the audio files, it puts the streams into one stream so cannot change left right channel or a dvd player or via power dvd.

DVD Lab will: One demuxed file that I recently used had 5 audio streams and one video, DVD Lab separated them all.
