    Im having problem ...When converting asf and wmv file to avi file...the quality isnt good? these wmv,asf, i download them from the internet. Please anyone know what i should do to get good quality picture.I dont know what else to do .

    unfortunately, it's garbage in=garbage out.

    check your resolutions on your downloaded files - is the process of converting to a standard SVCD resolution blowing them up in size? that can cause problems.

    sometimes the only solutions are download a better file, or capture it yourself.

    These wmv,asf file that i download are really good quality but after i convert it to avi. the picture is blocky and blurry.
