  1. I apologise if this post is in the wrong place, but it seems like the most appropriate place for a DVD authoring question:

Basically when making an NTSC DVD in either Moviefactory 2 or DVD Workshop (Full Retail patched versions) the box that allows you to change the framerate is greyed out, I've tried creating a new template and its all set up for NTSC but still no luck. In my case I want to set it to 23fps.

Is it possible to manually enable this by somehow altering the template files or something in the program directory, am I missing something here? The settings are the more traditional 25fps PAL and 29 NTSC and unchangeable.

    Thanks in advance

  2. NTSC DVD is mpeg2 (720x480) at 29.9 fps. If you want to make it non standard then I suggest you use the mpeg2 template and you can change what ever you want. Once you put the NTSC setting in it needs to conform to the standard otherwise its not NTSC anymore.
