    ok i've tried to convert an Xvid movie to an mpg. Everything is going fine at first but then about 20 mins into the conversion the video goes blank but i still have audio. i usualy dont have any problems but there have been a few movies that will do this. is there anyway to correct this or is it just a corrupted movie file?

    ok, nevermind... got to watching the AVI file and relized that it glitches at about the same time the same time. so i should be able to set the source range to start converting right after the glitch.
