hello, i have a small problem with my virtual dub program and am looking for a little advice..
I am trying to edit out bad frames from an avi file and have followed the tutorial provided on this site.
My problem is twofold, first some avi files that I try to fix in vdub cause the program to crash, some files work fine others crash at the same time (during the file check process)
second, when the file does not cause the program to crash, and the fix process complete, the movie is still NOT FIXED! audio still goes off sync by nearly a minute and my media programms still crash due to the freeze!
Any advice would be great, suggestions of another program to use for editing out freezes, or a push towards a good tutorial.
Thanks
Tengu

Some bad frames Vdub just won't catch, edit it manually if you know where it is. As for causing it to crash, if you know where it occurs then you can edit that part manually as well. Unfortunately, some clips are just too corrupt to repair!
