Like the subject says, I really want to capture in as high a quality as possible, both audio and video from this web site. There has to be one of you geniuses out there that can come up with something. Please include links to any software that is needed.
    thanks in advance.

Tommy Knocker has given you the best solution for use on one machine..

BUT IF YOU HAVE 2 or more towers, consider that you can do this by
USING THE TV OUT of a Graphics Card..and the audio out of your sound card (you may need a y-connector to hear it at the same time)

Go to YAHOO, launch the music video you want
    now make it full screen
    and
JACK OUT THE VIDEO and Audio from the first TOWER to the second computer tower's capture card

    1) There is a program that says it will capture steaming video but before I give a link to it I would like to see a comment from the mods on the legality and or forum rules on this topic.
I never tried the program that I am thinking of and have a link to but it claims to capture streaming real media video also. It's not new and is no longer supported by the original developper but some sites still have the prog and someone seems to have updated it.

    2) I did something similar to what user dcsos suggests as a test a long time ago but I simply connected my display card's tv-out svideo to the svideo on my capture card and captured the video from that source. For the audio I used the speaker out from my sound card and looped it back to the audio-in of my capture card. I had to allow a bit of extra capture since I had to start the cap first then start the player and then put it full screen but I was able to edit out the extra lead and trailing stuff out of the avi afterwards in vdub. I'm, not saying it's the best but it does work. It works with DVD's played from your rom drive also.

    3) I believe a program called Hypercam is a better solution than snaggit since it will capture screen video and audio directly to avi format. Sorry I don't have a link but it should be easy to find.

So what do you think mods? Any thoughts and or suggestions? Should I provide the link to the prog in point 1.
There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.

Wow, that's an interesting concept. Looping the out's back in. Is this really possible? I've also read up here on some stream capturing software on other posts so I don't see a problem as far as the moderators go...I guess.
-Remember, I'm looking for the highest quality possible audio/video.
thanks for all the help so far!
