    The program worked fine and plays on power dvd but when i take it to
    my stand alone i get the error please check tv settings. It plays everything
    esle vcd/svcd/dvd-r any insight would be helpful. I am using the + version.

    are you trying to play a pal dvdr created with dvd2svcdmpg+ on ntsc equipment ?
    i belive this is more of a problem with your equipment and not dvd2svcdmpg+....
    just my thoughts

    How do i find out what it is creating (pal or ntsc)
    and is there a way to change on the program
    i have looked and cant find anything

  4. check the settings of the origional mpg 352x388 25 fps is PAL, 352x240 29,97 or 23,976 is NTSC. You can use bsplayer to see the information.

    the only settings i get are 480x576 @25
    i have tried all the mpegs and the bin files and
    get same results
    i am at a loss here..........will work for tech support!

  6. So you got a good PAL dvd but you need to check if you player can play svcd & dvd-r/dvd+r.
    And if your tv can handle the PAL signal or if the dvd-player can convert the PAL signal to NTSC.

    your were right my tv only plays ntsc and my dvd player can not change it
    over to that. I have looked on google for converter there are a few ..
    can you give me the one you recomend?

  10. We should see if ChrissyBoy could look at implementing a pal to ntsc, ntsc pal conversion in SVCD2DVDMPG, then this would be one kick ass tool, not that it isnt already :P

  11. all the latest tv's and dvd-players here play both PAL and NTSC so i don't need it..

    I have the same problem. The mpeg is PAL but I need to convert it to NTSC. What do you guys suggest? All the help is greatly appreciated.

  14. I've only converted from ntsc film to pal but there are some guides in the guide section about converting and some threats about it in the forum i'll give you a starting place.
