  1. When I try to make a duplicate copy of an existing (s)vcd disc I always end up with a less than perfect copy. At the very beginning of the new disc there will be some pixilating that wasn't there before and it often will freeze up on some older DVD players and even PowerDVD on the computer. I have used CDRWin, CloneCD, and Nero with the same results when creating an image and then burning a new disc. Also, when I use ISOBuster to rip the mpegs off the disc they have the same problems as the ripped images when tested with PowerDVD. The only way I have been able to work around this problem is to use Windows explorer to copy the dat/mpg files from the CD to the HDD then reassemble the (s)vcd with VCDEasy for burning. This method produces clean copies of the mpg files but is a lot more trouble than just copying the disc. Has anybody else experienced this problem and if so is there a solution to it.

    TIA, Harry

  2. Lower the speed
    Make sure the discs are clean.

  3. I've used CDRWIN to make bin/cue's and both burnatonce and VCDEasy to burn them to a new CD, worked fine.
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author
