    hi
    i'm using premiere to edit my DV files but when i have the files on the timeline and press the play button on the monitor i can't listen to the sound. how can i fix it? cause this way i don't know where should i cut the videos or add text or other stuff.

    if anyone can help please reply

    What version of Premiere?

    In 6.5 you can do a full effects/audio preview by pressing the Enter key. In lower versions there is a RAM preview, but you'll have to look it up in the manual to see how it works.
