nero troubleshoot

hey ive been using nero for a while now and nothing's been wrong...but recently its been crashing super often...like sometimes it wud crash when i choose the 're-encode' option and then it will get stuck there and other times it would crash when it starts to burn...

does anyone know what's wrong?

This could have been caused by another program that you loaded that is conflicting with Nero. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling Nero.

it works sometimes i just can't figure out when it works and when it doesn't...

What OS? What hardware?

I've had this happen before when my external CD-RW failed. I replaced the drive and the crashing stopped.

Have you tried another burning program? Try and isolate the problem by a little experimentation. (All on re-writable media of course)

i have windows 2000 with pentium 4 and service pack 4

i tried VCDEasy and it worked lol so i guess i will use that from now on then...even tho Nero is a lot easier to use
