    Hello, everyone.
I'm about to buy a new graphic video card and I want it also to make captures for making my very own VCDs.
I would really like to get something like a Radeon 9500 Pro, but I found out there's no option of this card with VIVO. 9700 ones are too expensive to me...
I knew the Geforce 5600 ones have this feature and they also support DX9 (this is great for me, 'cause I'm a gamer ). Some people say this isn't a good card for both features I want (graphic and capture).
As I only want to capture videos for creating simple DIVX and VCD movies, I want to know if it's enough.
It hasn't to be the best graphic card of the world for me, even because I only want to play Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 (and DX9 support, as told).
What do you all think about it?
Those who have this card, please tell me if you are satisfied with that.
Thanks for reading this bible .

I tested this card for another company (won't say who). I used it to play Unreal 2003, and had it in a box with an ATI TV Wonder Tuner card. I feel it is fine for capture but suffers significantly when running games that place a high demand on a GPU. Personally if money was an issue you'd be happier spending your money on a G-Force 4- 4400 or a 4600. However, in saying this you may want to save up a little longer and buy and ATI 9700 Pro. I see they are dropping down in price. I saw one listed for $319.00. Maybe do a search on a pricing site to get the lowest price. My 2 cents. Good luck!!

    Hi, jdizzy40
Thank you so much for answering. I'll think a little more about that. I think you're right. I'll save more money and try to get the 9700.
