  2. I print directly using an Epson 900 printer which comes with a special adapter tray.

  3. I've been using casio cw-50 cd title printer (~$90)on recordable dvd and cds. I've printed on around 60 dvd-rs and very pleased with clean result.

  4. I use a CW-50 as well, but at $.20 a print it gets a little rich for anything beyond one-offs. I have been wondering about the Epson 900, wondering how much it costs to print each disc. 1. With monochrome titles only and 2. In color covering the whole disc.

  6. I only know about the cw-50, still researching the Epson 900. But on the Casio CW-50 it has a small ribbon cartridge that advances every time you print a title. You only get about 50 prints and the cartridges retail for $9-$10. As I recall the output is only 200 dpi, but for text that comes out nice and clear.
I'm hoping Bob W will jump back into the thread here and give us some cost-per-disc printing with his Epson 900.
