I am creating a VCD for a movie that is subtitled. The tools I am using are SmartRipper, DVD2AVI, and TMGPEnc, then Nero to burn the VCD. Although the video and audio (Italian) are coming through fine, I haven't been able to figure out how to capture the English subtitles.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can use Subrip to rip the english subs and then frameserve the movie including subs with VirtualDub to TMPGenc.

Thanks for the info. I assume Subrip is a shareware tool like VirtualDub. I am pretty new to this. Are there basic steps that you can lead me through?
