help with goldwave.

I have an avi file with AC3 audio....

This will not load into TMPGEnc. i have the right codec, whether that makes any difference?

It plays on my p.c anyway.

I have decompressed it onto goldwave, but the audio is very low.

For 1: I want to try to up the audio and convert it.

How do i do this and What is the best to convert to so i can lay it back down with my video? this will final end up on DVD.

Use the Virtual Dub MPEG-2 AC3 mod, and frameserve it to TMPGEnc.
