  1. I have searched the forums for Gamcube related threads and all of the posts related to copying the little discs are about 6 months old...

So has anyone been able to copy a GC game to their PC or to another disc? A nice little guide or link would be great!!

    Thanks a lot!

  2. check the rules... askin how to "copy" gives the impression that you are pirating games. If so, i wouldnt ask here...

on the other hand, if you want to create a backup of a game you already own, have a look here...

  4. and in response to the link above, basically after 7 pages worth of posts it was agreed that PC drives can not read the GC discs due to the unique layout of the data on the disc (different distances for the lens to read). The only way to back-up the discs is to connect the Cube directly to the PC. Even after ripping it (which apparently only one ripping group has managed to do) there is no mod chip avaliable...

Nintendo really don't want their games ripped...

Thats why it sucks. They use only 1.5 GB of data for games. Come on PS2 uses up to DVD-5 and XBOX uses up to DVD-9's.

Ps2 has dvd 9 games also
Metal gear solid 2 substance that was rereleased and xenosaga are just a few

Even if you could back the gamecube game up there is no way to bypass authentification as of yet
