I have been doing some capturing from some old VHS tapes. The quality of the video is not all that great. The video is grainy, now I have no issues with capturing it, this happens just fine, but what I would like to be able to do is try and work some of the grain out of the video, so that it is cleaner before putting it on a DVD-R.
Any suggestions on a good program to use for this, and some good filters would be much appreachiated.

Hi,
I've asked the very same question before now. Check out my thread entitled: How do I clean up captured video before authoring my DVD?
There's a couple of useful links in there to guides specializing in video cleanup.
I hope this helps.
