I am using smart ripper and I am getting the following message. I have downloaded the latest ASPI driver and that didn't help. Here is the message:

unlock drive

try to unlock drive...

Done

Then another pops up box appears that says

SMARTRIPPER

Some files are still locked! Try to unlock with a player. Then your selection are ABORT, RETRY or IGNORE. If you ABORT, it simply ends, RETRY the same thing happens and IGNORE takes you to the next screen, but again, I don't know if we have all the key files.

Can anybody help and let me know what the heck the problem is?

Try to unlock with a player.

It means that you should play the dvd with a software dvd player(powerdvd,windvd...) first and then try rip it. You only need to play it a few seconds and then close the software dvd player and try rip.

otherwise, just pause the player, rather than close it...that might help as well...
