It seems like there are more videos that don't play in WMP than videos that do play. I have WMP 7.1 (whatever the newest one is) and Win2K Pro. I have downloaded so many codecs I've lost count. I found this site and the codecs section in tools. I downloaded the Kristal Studio Pack and installed it, making sure I uninstalled any DivX codecs that were already installed. I downloaded American History X, and it is a DivX. The resolution is 6?? X 3??. I'm just so confused on all this video stuff. Bitrate, audio, wav, MPEG1,2,3,4, khz, DivX, AVI, VCD, SVCD, X(S)VCD, and so much other stuff. MOV Files are for quick time right? I have a friend who has a MOV file and it played in WMP, but then I downloaded it, and I can't get the thing to play. At this point, I've become so confused, I don't even know what to ask.
