I want to backup a DVD to VCD.
I ripped it then created a project with DVD2AVI.
I have 2 files: project.d2v and audio MPA T01 DELAY -80ms.mpa
I start TMPGEnc -> project wizard -> choose files ....
It accepts both files, no problem.
My question: in the "Source range" window, should i put something in the audio gap correct box? Like 80ms or -80ms, cause the .mpa file has DELAY -80ms in its name?
Thank you in advance.

you need to put that number in somewhere or it will be out of sync and i dont see anywhere else it would go.put -80 in the box.

just load it into the audio section of TMPGenc, choose format(pal/ntsc)
hit start wait about 2-3 hrs. and you'll have your vcd -
Hmmm ... a little bit too concise, your answer .....
i would appreciate a little more elaborate reply. Any other opinions?

You only need to worry about the delay time when you are reencoding a movie and plan to use the original soundtrack. As far as creating a vcd or a dvd using mp2, there is no need to adjust the source range. If you are encoding both and audio and video file, the sound should sync just fine.
