  1. I have one big VOB file that i want to convert to MPEG without losing any quality how can i do it?

    anytime you convert you will loose quality. what do you want to do with the vob? vcd, svcd, dvd?

    You don't have to convert it. A VOB is already an MPEG with audio muxed together. Use VOBedit or VOBrator and separate those suckers.

    You'll end up with the MPEG video and the audio (AC3/MPA/PCM).

  4. I want to burn it to a DVD i just want to edit some of the video and my fav editor wont take VOB files.

    txpharoah.....Any guieds on how to do that without losing any video quality?

    Nothing to lose. You're just pulling the files apart.

    Imagine this: a VOB is a peanutbutter-n-jelly sandwich. VOBedit pulls the bread back apart and separates the peanutbutter from the jelly. Re-encoding would have been eating the sandwich and then digesting it. We won't talk about the output.

    Open VOBedit, demux the video, then the audio. I can't get it to demux both at the same time. Download it. It shouldn't be hard to figure out. I never had a guide. I just guessed at it, and took all of 5 minute to understand. https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=VobEdit#comments

  7. ok i'm juts guesing what to do here so i ran TMPGEnc went to mpegs tools - simple multiplex - used the 2 files VOB edit made and hit run and i got a error saying packets cause buffer underflow?
