    Hi,
I need help here, please. Recently I downloaded a file fron the net with very unusual frame rate ( 20 fps and data rate 77 kbps ; audio in mp3 with 96 kbps and resolution 352 x 288 ).
The other parameters are ok but I'm trying to convert that frame rate of 20 fps to regular 25 fps for PAL - and you can guess === with no big success !!!
All the time I'm getting audio sync problems.
I've tried VirtualDub and I can not load the file into TMPEG Plus ??? ( I don't know why?).
Any help will be much appreciated.[/b]

Search the forum for 'Xesdeeni' and 'PAL' and 'Conversion'. There is a method Xesdeen created to convert from 25 to 30 fps directly using a telecine process. It should work for you as well. You will have to do a tiny bit of touchup at the end, to speed up your video by a fraction of a frame to get the full 25fps, but the jump is much less than trying to speed it up by 5 frames per second. The audio will only be affected by the final speedup to get it at exactly to 25fps, and it will only be a minimal change at that. The audio should be unaffected by the first step.
