  1. I got nero 5.5. I read that all I have to do is click on VCD and drag the mpeg and burn. After that, I can just put it on the dvd and play it? Im wondering becuz, some of my movies are bin and cues, i usually just convert it to mpg and burn it as data cd. whats the difference between burning bin and cue with cdrwin and burning with nero? Does it still make a VCD?

Another thing, why are SVCD's all over 700mb's? I thought they were split into 3 files for 3 cd's?

Bin/cue are image files. Burn it straight instead of extracting the mpeg.
Use CDRWin/CDRdoa/Fireburner to burn a bin, because Nero does not burn images of multiple track VCDs properly.
If you like to use Nero, just chose "VCD" from the wizard, drag the mpeg and burn. If you burn the mpeg as data CD, you will end with a data CD, not a Video-CD. Only Video-CD is playable on DVD players.
(S/X)VCD are burnt in mode2, so you can fit up to 807/747MB on a 80/74min CD-R.
