Hi i'm fairly new to capturing video but please bear with me!
It seems to be capturing at around about 170mb per minute which over 1 hour will work out to be around 10gb.
Does that sound right? Or is that larger than normal?
I am trying to capture from VHS using iuVCR and the HuffyUV compression method.
I am capturing at 352 x 288 (YUY2) and 25 fps.
The settings for HuffyUV are:
YUY2 compression method = Predict median (best)
RGB compression method = Predict gradient (best)
Audio is PCM - 44.100 kHz, 16 bit, mono (my capture card isn't stereo)

I use iuVCR and the huffy codec also. I end up capturing at 720x480 (I think.....720 is right anyway). My captures are about 20 mins each and I average 10GB on those. Haven't tried anything that is an hour or over yet. I'm getting great quality on old vcr tapes.
