I accidentally deleted the IFO files for Amelie. I recreated them with IFOedit, but now the subtitles a BIG, BOLD and GREEN!
I've been fiddling with IFOedit, to see if I can get them to return to small and yellow, but to no avail.
Can anyone help?

BorgQueen,
It would be a lot easier to just re-rip the ifo's off the dvd, than trying to mess with IfoEdit.

Open VTS.IFO with IFOEdit -> VTS_PGCITI/VTS_PGC_1 then scroll down to the color table (color 0 to 15).
Subtitles use 2 of these colors, 1 for the character and 1 for the outline. Each color has 3 hex values, first is brightness, second red, and third blue. Green is fixed at 80 hex.
By setting the last 2 hex values to 80 will set the color to gray.
To make a white character use [EA 80 80].
To make a black outline use [10 80 80].
The problem is to find which colors are used for each. The most common are color 3 for the character and color 2 for the outline.
To change the character color to yellow use [BF 92 35].
Hope this helps
Chas
