  1. I've been reading different posts and everyone keeps saying do not use cheap media so what would the new Accu 4x media be considered? They're not as cheap as Princo but not as expensive as TDK. I have a Pioneer DVR 105 and have tested media from a couple of different companies and have found these DVD-R's work the best. They have played in every DVD player, including PlayStation 2 and Xbox, have not skipped, and out of the 25 I bought 0 were coasters. Before I invest in a spindle of 100 I would just like to know if this media is considered cheap or not and whether it makes a big difference is the top is silver or white printable when buying DVD-Rs from any company. Any help would be appreciated.

  2. I would also be interested to know how these compare with Riteks in particular. I am looking at either a 50 pack of the accu 4x's or a 50 pack of the ritek G03 1x (2x in my pioneer a04). The 4x are obviously more but would be nice to have a good 4x rated disk to run at 2x without firmware updates

I have not tested the 4x accu but as far as how the compare to Riteks. This has Ritek G03 and Accu 1x listed on it.

The jist? Accu makes an ok disc for most people, but be sure to try a small batch before you order big. Personally I thought the results from Optos was way better.

  4. Thanks, maybe I'll pick up 25 Riteks and Optos before I buy a spindle of 100 and see what happens from there. I personally like the Accus and so does every DVD player I put them in but it will not hurt to see what else is out there.
