  1. Helo all!

I've been using TMPGEnc but found out it's not perfect as it comes to
good compression for DVD-R. Comparing other mpegs that are VBR
quality is much better. I can see that bitrate is almost constant around
4.1Mbit/s. I set max bitrate 9500 min 0 avg 4100. What do I do wrong?
All Mpg2 files are crap comparing to those done with f.ex. dvd2one.
Image crispier smoother and no motion pixelation.
    Could that mean TMPGEnc sux?
I heard adobe plugin is quite good.
I need some professional soft recommendations. Please help guys.

  2. Well if ya have plenty of money to spare, CCE or CinemaCraft Encoder is one of the best solutions out there. I would suggest you try out the trial lite version, and if you like it, you can either get the basic package for $58 I think, or the professional for >$1000. Either way, its something else to try and works out very well.
