  1. Geez, i lost it all. I can't even remember how to put chapters on a SVCD. I know i did it a few times already but whatever i try, it won't work. VcdEasy doesn't open the mpeg file and Ulead moviefactory trial took like 3 hours converting streams (while it shouldn't be doing that) and the it says the file is too big. Can anyone tell me a simple way to put chapters on a Svcd (i copied the mpeg file to the HD), without menu's or thing like that.

    Thnx,

  2. VCDEasy is the easiest way.

Mind you, a SVCD has to have the MPEG-2 files at particular specs: https://www.videohelp.com/svcd

If VCDEasy doesn't even open your MPEG-2 file, there may be something wrong with it. I would suggest that you at least try to remux it with TMPGEnc (Files --> MPEG Tools --> Simple Multiplex) or bbMPEG and try again.

Then, you make the chapters with VCDEasy like you would for any other VCD. There are guides on this site that explain it in detail.

If VCDEasy continues to refuse to accept your MPEG-2 file, there is undoubtedly something wrong with it and you are unlikely to get anywhere very far with an other proggy.
