Mine is on order, but I bought it because I figured it had almost all the features I needed at a good price (online deal).
However, I still don't feel 100% confident in my choice so far as editing goes.
I want to do a lot of editing of 8mm and VHS camcorder material and burn it to DVD-R for friends and family, but I can't find actual information telling me how well I can edit the material once I've copied it to the hard drive. I know if I had it all on DV it would be easier to edit, but I don't so S-video will be the main input used.
Does anyone know if I have the flexability to create some form of menu and also chapters (Ex: Christmas 98, Christmas 99, Babies First Birthday etc) using the E80?
I don't as of yet have a PC DVD burner (may in the future) so I have to rely on the E80 completely for now to make all these video compilations.
If anyone can offer input or even a link to the E80 owners manual, I'd appreciate it.
Hoping I made the right choice.
Alfer
