VCD 2?

Hi group, this is my first post so i hope it is in the right section!

i have a Matsui 125 DVD palyer i have followed the instructions to allow it to play VCD's. i burnt a VCD to CDRW as this is the only type on media it seems to reconise, but when i put it in and try and play it, it comes up on the screen VCD 2 and then does nothing i get a big black screen.

any one got any ideas??

Try pushing the "Play" button, if that doesn't work try looking in the manual.

Mine always wants me to push the "1" key..
Nothing else will cause play
Its to lauch chapter 1
even if there's only 1 chapter
as most of my VCD have only a chapter 1

Thats odd my 1500 works when you hit play. I seriously think there are 2 or 3 slightly different AD1500s out there.
